Erik Santos said all is well between him and TV host Boy Abunda, who used to head the talent management group Backroom Inc. that managed his career for more than seven years.

Santos ended his business relationship with Backroom in August, and is now comanaged by ABS-CBN’s Star Magic group and Cornerstone Talent Management Center. Abunda said his talent agency had to release the singer because he “badmouthed Backroom and lied to some of our common friends.”

Nagkalinawan kami, okay na uli kami ngayon,” he said at the presscon of “The Little Mermaid” that starts showing at the Meralco Theater starting Nov. 18. “I won’t go into details anymore kung anong napag-usapan namin. Basta I realized despite what happened that Tito Boy really loves me not just as a talent manager but as a son, as a friend. Ganundin naman ako sa kanya, kaya hindi naging mahirap ang pag-uusap namin. I now acknowledge that he’s really a blessing in my life.”

MANILA, Philippines – Singer Erik Santos, whose falling out with Backroom Incorporated and manager Boy Abunda hogged headlines the past few days, finally broke his silence about the issue in a taped interview, claiming all is well now between him and Abunda.

“Nakapag-usap na kami ni Tito Boy, at nalinaw na namin ang lahat ng bagay,” said he on “E- Live,” Oct. 16.

The 28-year old singer reiterated his love for his former manager in the same interview. “Alam ni Tito Boy na sobra ko siyang mahal at alam ko sobra niya akong mahal,” he said.

Nakaalis na ang maraming reporter nang ma-corner ng ilang entertainment press kagabi ang Prince of Pop na si Erik Santos pagkatapos ng kanyang album launching na Awit Para Sa ‘Yo ng Star Records, na ginanap sa Don Henrico’s, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Inilunsad ni Erik ang Awit Para Sa ‘Yo album na kinapapalooban ng 14 tracks. Isa sa mga tracks ay ang favorite ng kanyang dating manager na si Boy Abunda ng Backroom Inc.

Dinedicate ni Erik ang kantang “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” kay Boy.

Bakit ito ang dine-dedicate niya kay Boy?
